once upon a time (Dec 2001) I grabbed the q2 source like many others did and started to modify it.
however I started to not only add my own improvements but also using other coder's work I thought I put up some credits

 - This one is impressive. quake3 using the q2 engine = rocks, unfortunately some q2 compatibility was lost and Vic's superiour coding style makes it hard for me to
   merge the l33t stuff without loosing my new features.

 - I copied a good bunch of his BeefQuake modification. Especially advanced shadows, jpg support and of course his script thingie.
   And he continues to be an amazing source for new stuff !

first check http://sul.planetgloom.com for new changes
-------------------- USE ------------------------
- unzip into your quake2 dir  (with sub directories)
- look in /baseq2/sulq2_sample.cfg and change things if you like
- make sure you launch sulq2.exe when you join the server
- join your favorite gloom server
- enjoy and report bugs to sul@planetquake.com
- check out www.planetgloom.com/community for custom 32 bit models/skins
